Onam is truely a universal festival in Kerala as it is celebrated across the length and breadth of Malayalanadu irrespective of religion or caste or class. Though it has a mythical connection to the glorious rule of demon king Mahabali , it unites all malayalees under a single umbrella in the revelry.
